An Unused Sunroom Becomes the Homeowner’s Favorite Spot

For this Spring City home, the sun-filled sunroom was originally only used by the clients’ dogs. While working on another project in the home, Marie saw the room and could immediately see the potential for making it a beautiful space to read and sit by the fireplace.

The team used a gorgeous Japanese artwork, the homeowner had, for inspiration for the whole room. The walls are painted a soft pale green (Pearl Gray by Sherwin Williams) they softened the light with casual, unlined sheer draperies. A small settee was reupholstered in a navy faux leather that’s dog-friendly.

They sourced new swivel chairs from Bassett Furniture and a sisal rug with a blue weave in it. Accent tTables the homeowner already owned were repurposed in the sunroom.

This room is now the client’s favorite spot in the home!
