A Dining Room is Transformed into a Stylish Home Office

This post-Covid project created a unique challenge for our team. Our client wanted to transform their current dining room into a home office, because she never used the dining room and had transitioned to working from home every day.

The dining room was the sunniest room in the home, which appealed to her to be her workspace. It also had open doorways, so to add privacy, we installed glass doors from the foyer into the space, designed and built a beautiful, functional built-in unit that held all of her office needs, and choose decorative items for the shelving.

We found a beautiful linear light fixture to place above the desk she already owned. Natural woven shades softened direct sunlight, while a fresh rug in front of the desk created a lounge space for her pet cats
